Reece Turner brings over 10 years of recruitment experience, specialising in middle and executive leadership appointments across the further education and sixth form college sector.
Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for developing genuine, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates, taking the time to truly understand the organisations he partners with and the individuals he supports.
For Reece, recruitment has never been transactional. His approach is centred around listening, understanding and delivering outcomes that create lasting impact. He is passionate about ensuring candidates have the best possible experience throughout the recruitment process, while helping organisations secure talent that aligns not only with their strategic objectives, but also with their culture and values.
Prior to moving into recruitment, Reece began his career within the shipping and logistics sector, where he developed strong commercial awareness, a people-first mindset, and an understanding of the importance of delivering within highly time-sensitive environments. These early experiences helped shape the relationship-led and solutions-focused approach he brings to his work today.
Reece has a particular passion for education and is motivated by supporting the individuals and organisations that help others on their learning journeys and make a meaningful difference within their communities. Prior to a recent relocation, he also served as an Academy Committee Member for his local primary school in Surrey, where he held responsibilities as both Curriculum and Inclusion Lead.
Outside of work, Reece’s biggest passion is football. Although his own semi-professional playing career was cut short when he was forced to retire in his mid-20s, he has remained heavily involved in the game through coaching and managing at semi-professional level. Football continues to be an important part of his life and is something he finds both rewarding and enjoyable, particularly the opportunity to work closely with people, support player development and be part of a strong team environment.
