I have a solid background in healthcare administration having worked in GP surgeries and Hospitals both in London and in Birmingham. Additionally, throughout my 4 years at university, I worked at Starbucks and I am fully trained in the ‘STARBUCKS’ way.

Prior to joining Peridot, I worked as a seasonal recruiter in a close friend’s company, honing my skills in candidate relationships, database management, and data analysis and protection. These skills, along with the interviewing and research analysis skills I developed through university, have well equipped me for working at Peridot.

I’m inspired by working within the awarding and skills sector, as it has allowed me to become involved in recruiting individuals that have a strong passion for how students learn, the curriculums and the exams created for them. Recruiting the right individual with interesting and creative ideas for the betterment of students today helps with the overall improvement of the education system in the UK. In the same way, having been a student in the UK from nursery to postgraduate level, it is a great privilege to be involved in the process and see the impact it makes on students.

Outside of work, I do a lot of hairstyling, I’m a part qualified nail technician and I have a huge love of makeup. Alongside this, I like to sing and have been involved in many award-winning choirs over the years, one of which was led by Karen Gibson MBE who gave me the opportunity of singing in the Royal Albert Hall as a soloist at the age of 13.
