Meet Lucy Kennedy-Mavers, our resident music aficionado and recruitment maestro. A self-proclaimed vinyl enthusiast, multi-instrumentalist and proud member of the City Wind Orchestra, music is her passion. When she’s not making melodies, Lucy strives to keep her toddler out of trouble and perfect her yoga practice.
Lucy’s recruitment career began in 2010, and since then, she has honed her skills in recruiting senior talent across the public and not-for-profit sectors, placing executive directors, chief executives, trustees, and chairs, focusing on health and social care charities and not-for-profit organisations. Lucy’s approach challenges conventional recruitment practices and promotes diversity to ensure a wide range of candidates are approached. Lucy’s track record reflects her commitment to enhancing global majority, LGBTQIA+, and disability representation.
With a deep-seated passion for health and social care, Lucy has supported numerous organisations, from children’s charities to those addressing complex disability and learning needs, to thrive through exceptional leadership.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lucy is deeply involved in the community as an advisory board member for Out for Good, an LGBT+ charity, and a trustee for Haven House Children’s Hospice.
