Louise Steer brings over 15 years of recruitment experience, 11 years across the charity and not for profit sectors and 4 years in the life sciences sector.
Louise is passionate about helping organisations reach a diverse pool of candidates and running inclusive executive search campaigns where every candidate has equal equity in the process. She has recruited C-suite roles nationally and internationally to include Medical Directors and CFOs, and is now delighted to be focusing on executive finance roles across the charity and not for profit sector, focusing on skills and capability, not just experience.
Partnering with organisations across different sectors has equipped her with a breadth of awareness of the transferability of leadership credentials across sectors.
Within Peridot, Louise combines her passion and experiences to help social purpose organisations thrive by recruiting talented executives. Breaking the mould of the old, traditional, experience-based recruitment model is her key driver, along with enabling organisations to reach candidates without the barriers that can sometimes stop people from applying.
Outside of work, Louise loves the great outdoors and runs with her cavapoo dog, and if she’s lucky, sometimes one of her three teenagers joins her. She plays tennis, as well as enjoys reformer Pilates. She has been Chair of her local pre-school and is currently a volunteer on the local tennis committee. She is a client volunteer visitor for the Brigitte Trust, providing practical, social and emotional support during weekly visits to individuals living with a terminal diagnosis.
