Laura Iliff is an experienced recruitment consultant with over 15 years in the profession, nine of which have been spent recruiting into the wonderful not for profit sector. She has a genuine love for the sector and enjoys working with a range of organisations tackling different causes. Laura takes time to understand the culture, priorities and values of each organisation she partners with. Her work focuses on connecting charities with passionate individuals who are motivated by purpose and committed to making a meaningful difference through their roles.
As a natural people person, her key strength is building strong relationships and putting people at the heart of anything she does. She values open, honest conversations and works closely with both clients and candidates to create matches that feel right on both sides.
As an active member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising in the West Midlands, Laura has been instrumental in arranging a number of the yearly conferences which bring fundraisers together, creating space for connection, shared learning and mutual support across the sector.
Outside of work, Laura is a proud mum to two girls and a dog mum to a wild cocker spaniel! She enjoys running or working out in the gym. As an avid traveller, she makes sure to take her girls to different countries and expose them to new cultures. She is also partial to a good series and loves reading.
