Want to know more about leadership roles in academy trusts, colleges, universities and skills? Look no further.

There’s nothing I love more than English summers in the garden, walking my dogs and the ‘occasional’ beer down my village local in Leicestershire – the home of pork pies and Stilton cheese (a great combination!).

I’ve worked at Peridot Partners for two years now and originally started as Business Manager for further education and skills.

As the demand for our work has grown, so have the sectors we work to support and the Education Practice successfully leads the recruitment of board, executive and senior roles across the education and skills sectors. These include schools (state and independent), FE and sixth form colleges, employment and skills providers, awarding organisations, alternative providers, universities and charities with an education-focused mission.

Having worked in leadership roles in both HE and FE, most recently as Assistant Principal before joining Peridot, I’ve a good grasp of both policy and the leadership and governance requirements to respond to sector changes.

As Vice Chair of a multi-academy trust and Governor of my local FE college, I have the privilege of being involved as a non-exec; working to improve educational outcomes and progress of children from early years through to HE in my local town.

Talk to me about:

Drew's track record in education and skills sectors:

Governors (Finance and Audit):

Governors (Curriculum):

“Drew was very personable; he has a strong winning style of drawing you in and making you feel comfortable and valued.

I have in my career worked with many search companies and few have the presence of mind to treat potential candidates other than as a commodity. The experience – the lack of individuality – is not that great as a consequence. Peridot does not fall into that failing. They clearly have a culture of ‘people matter’ – whether a buyer of their services or as a hopeful candidate and my experience of working with them has been very positive.”
