As Deputy Chair of a thriving and successful multi-academy trust, and a volunteer with the Social Mobility Foundation, I feel privileged to help young people progress through their early life and feel supported on their journey into adulthood. It is through my work at Peridot Partners that I also get a sense of pride in the work we do.

Having joined the Peridot team in 2017, I am a proud director of the business and lead a dedicated team of expert education recruiters, deeply connected with the work we do in enhancing societal outcomes for children, students and adult learners. We work nationally with colleges, universities, academy trusts and schools, awarding organisations and end point assessment organisations, chartered institutes and charities with an education mission.

Working closely with Chairs, governing bodies, CEOs and executive directors to understand the culture and ambitions of their organisation when appointing senior leaders and board members/governors or trustees, our Education Practice has a national reputation for delivering high-quality work in the spirit of true partnership and through a values-based approach to recruitment.

Having been a senior leader in the FE and HE sectors prior to joining Peridot, and on the receiving end of some very poor recruitment practice as both client and candidate, my team and I ensure our executive search campaigns are well led, appropriately communicated, broad and thoroughly researched, and expertly managed – from end to end.
