As a final-year Business Management student at the University of Leeds, Bethan has strong transferable skills to bring to her role at Peridot Partners. She connected with Peridot during the summer of her second year, completing a work experience placement and quickly appreciated the collaborative culture and team dynamic. She then decided to stay and start work part-time as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant in the Education team, balancing her studies with hands-on experience in recruitment.
This will be her first role in recruitment, but she has an extensive background in the hospitality sector, which has given her experience in people-focused roles and equipped her with communication and customer service skills. She is confident Peridot will be a great place to start her career, apply her skills and hone them even further, particularly in supporting the company’s mission of driving impactful social change.
In her spare time, Bethan loves attending concerts—one of her favourite being Ed Sheeran in Manchester—, meeting friends for cocktails and reading in the evenings.
