Throughout his career, he has partnered closely with teams to attract, develop and retain people who go on to deliver lasting, meaningful impact.
At Peridot Partners, Alastair works with leaders across the arts, culture and heritage sectors, offering recruitment support built on trust, transparency and a practical understanding of what each organisation needs. His love of the arts and culture started at an early age, from theatre and classical concerts to museums and galleries, and he now enjoys sharing those experiences with his two young children. Growing up on the English and Welsh border also meant plenty of childhood holidays exploring National Trust sites, ancient forts, castles and nature reserves.
These formative experiences with the sector mean that Alastair is passionate about matching purpose-led candidates to the wonderful sites that need them. He builds deep relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, with a strategic and human approach to partnerships. Above all, he is motivated by the impact these candidates can have in helping organisations thrive for generations to come.
Outside work, Alastair is a proud dad, a capable cook and a golfer whose confidence sometimes outpaces his scorecard. He loves exploring the countryside, family bike rides, live music events and travelling.
