We’re thrilled to welcome Rebekah Abbott as Head of Arts, Heritage and Culture, part of our Not for Profit Practice. Having worked across the sector over several years, we have previously partnered with internationally recognised organisations, including Compton Verney, Beamish Museum, English Touring Theatre, Scottish Opera and The Roundhouse.
Rebekah brings intricate knowledge of the sector, having spent 20 years as a musician and leader of high-performing teams in Military Music and Education. Rebekah has founded her own not for profit, Luminosa Music, and has a first-hand understanding of the importance that having the right leaders in the right roles at the right time, can have on the success of an organisation.
With her wealth of experience, Rebekah has a deep appreciation that in an ever-evolving landscape, it is vital to find leaders that will not only embrace equity, diversity and inclusion but strive to improve it across the sector.
Our focus on arts, heritage and culture spans the full breadth of the sector, including museums, galleries, visitor attractions, music organisations, heritage organisations, theatres as well as organisations in the creative industries, on a local, regional and national scale.
On joining the team, Rebekah comments:
“I’m really excited to have joined Peridot Partners and to continue the fabulous work that Philippa and the team have already been undertaking. Now more than ever, Arts, Heritage and Culture need quality, diverse and driven leadership. Speaking as someone who deeply understands the sector and is passionate about engaging leaders who will enable it to thrive, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference and work alongside my inspirational and driven colleagues here at Peridot.”
Philippa Fabry heads up our Not for Profit Practice, and has commented:
“We are thrilled to have Rebekah join our team as Head of Arts, Heritage and Culture and with her expertise are looking forward to working in partnership with more organisations to find the diverse leadership experience they need to continue to drive their social impact.”
