Our work has always been rooted in purpose. We support organisations creating positive social change and believe better leadership leads to better outcomes for the people and communities they serve.

Becoming a B Corp gave us the opportunity to look closely at how we run our own business, not just the organisations we work with. It challenged us to evidence our impact, examine our decisions and identify where we could do better.

What B Corp means

B Corp certification recognises businesses that meet high standards across governance, people, community and environmental impact.

The assessment looks beyond financial performance to examine how decisions are made, who benefits from them and how organisations balance commercial success with wider responsibility.

B Corp certification is about continuous improvement towards building a business that stands up ethically in the future.

What this means for the people we work with

For the organisations we partner with, it means working with a team that is clearer about what it stands for and how it operates. That shows up in how we run search processes and will be felt in the advice we give.

For candidates, it means a process that is thoughtful, transparent, inclusive and designed to give people the fairest opportunity to show what they can do.

For our team, it means being part of a business that is actively working to align its actions with its values, not just talk about them.

What we’ve learned and changed

The process encouraged us to be more deliberate about how we measure and report our impact, strengthen our governance and formalise areas of good practice across the business.

We’ve introduced an independent Non-Executive Director, developed clearer reporting around our social and environmental impact and strengthened the policies and processes that support our team.

Perhaps most importantly, we’ve become more intentional about how we make decisions when commercial considerations and purpose don’t always point in the same direction.

What we’re still working on

Becoming a B Corp isn’t the end of the process.

The assessment highlighted areas where we’re making progress and areas where we still have work to do. That’s valuable.

The certification gives us a framework for continuous improvement and a way to hold ourselves accountable as we grow.

Holding ourselves to the same standard

We work with organisations making decisions that affect people’s lives. Holding ourselves to high standards should be part of that responsibility.

Becoming a B Corp is an important milestone, but it’s only one step. We’ll continue looking for ways to strengthen our impact, improve how we operate and build a business that reflects the values we encourage in others.
