Salary: £31,000-£37,000

Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity providing practical help, support and training to people who have been homeless and suffering from addiction.

Their mission is to enable people with complex drug and alcohol addictions to achieve lasting recovery and a more fulfilling life. To help achieve this, SCT run residential recovery service, personal development and training services for people in recovery alongside a number of social enterprises. Their pioneering approach embodies best practice around addiction recovery by treating the whole person and their needs.

The role

The Trusts and Statutory Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining links between SCT and trusts, foundations and some local authority funders. The post holder will also be responsible for identifying and maximising income through targeted applications and is to ensure both functions are provided adequate time.

A key aim of the Trusts and Statutory Manager will be to secure five- and six figure grants from large trusts foundations and institutional funders (including Big Lottery Fund, Local Authorities and Central Government), alongside a programme of regular applications to trusts and bespoke mailings to smaller trusts.

What we are looking for

Our next Trusts and Statutory Manager will have at least two years Trusts & Foundations fundraising experience with a strong track record of successfully securing multi year funding. Outstanding written, verbal and communication skills are essential in order to negotiate, influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
