Global Witness must be able to continue to confront corruption and the systems that enable it. We’re recruiting a Senior Philanthropy Manager to raise funds for our critical work.

  • Salary: £40K - £45K

About us

When someone is murdered defending their home because big businesses wants their land – this is corruption. When people struggle for shelter while empty mansions are used to launder money – this is corruption. When a child breathes polluted air because coal companies and politicians put profits before people – this is corruption.

Our mission is to campaign to end this and do this by carrying out hard-hitting investigations, exposing the facts, and pushing to change the system. We are independent, not for profit, and work with partners around the world in the fight for justice.

About the role

This is an important role supporting the growth of our individual major gifts programme. You’ll identify and develop new major prospect relationships through robust research and due diligence. You’ll produce tailored communications as well as organising meetings and exciting events.

You’ll also look after major existing donors, keeping them informed about our work and its impact and inviting them to relevant events. To meet our ambitious fundraising targets, you’ll understand and communicate our campaigns clearly, developing tailored cases for support.

About you

We’re looking for experience in developing and managing relationships with high net worth individuals and a creative and entrepreneurial approach to spotting new fundraising opportunities. Highly organised with exceptional project management and administrative skills, you enjoy working collaboratively in a fast paced, target driven and deadline oriented environments.
