Why Peridot Staff Love What They Do

About the role

We’ve built a strong reputation in the recruitment sector for providing a values-led, high-quality recruitment service and, as our profile continues to increase, we need additional research support to help with the delivery of our diverse and exciting projects.

Reporting to our Head of Research, Michael Earnshaw, you’ll work alongside our Directors, Consultants and Senior Researchers to support with the identification of contacts for our client assignments.

We’re research-led in our approach, so this role offers an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their career to build commercial research expertise and play an important part in the delivery of our recruitment projects.

This role will provide crucial support in the recruitment process, business development, administration procedures and database management – areas we hugely value in our organisation to maintain our high standards of quality and delivery.

You’ll be given thorough training and the opportunity to learn from highly experienced commercial researchers and delivery consultants, with a development pathway and prospects for your future career.

Who we're looking for

As an executive search organisation, we’re looking for an ambitious person who has a passion and curiosity for information, knowledge, and learning.

Research is so critical at Peridot, so your ability to think outside the box, be creative and agile-minded, and see connections in information which can lead to new research sources is very important.

We seek a highly-organised person who can manage multiple projects within a dynamic environment whilst ensuring that quality and accuracy are not compromised.

Surrounded by a passionate team, your willingness to learn from them and your ability to demonstrate tenacity, curiosity, and the desire to research people, organisations and market sectors is crucial.

Our flexible working culture places an emphasis on wellbeing, so you must be comfortable and responsible working in this way and be able to work independently as well as working well within a team. This flexibility means we can offer full-time or part-time hours, with flexibility to work from our office and home.

If you want to launch your career and learn transferable skills in a fun, ambitious, hard-working, and flexible environment, then we would love to hear from you!

Diversity is crucial to the success and reputation of what we do and the organisations and people we work with.

We support equal opportunities in employment and oppose all forms of unlawful or unfair discrimination on the grounds of gender, age, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual orientation or disability.

We don’t just make equality statements, and we are proud to embrace diversity and lead by example within our values-led company.

We’re proud of our diverse team who represent our commitment to diversity through age group, gender, BAME, LGBT and disability. We also recognise that we need to do more and to keep ensuring that our workforce reflects diversity of people and thought.

We believe our approach to diversity enriches our internal and external relationships, as well as enhancing the knowledge and experience we bring to our clients’ recruitment and retention issues.

Organisations need to be representative of the people, communities and causes they represent. We live in a multicultural and diverse society that faces unique, complex, and dynamic issues.

We understand that many of the issues around improving diversity are intersectional and no single thing will solve the problem.

We support our clients to achieve an inclusive workforce by making diverse appointments. We recognise that greater diversity goes hand-in-hand with greater innovation. We are experienced in supporting our clients to create open and inclusive recruitment processes that encourage greater diversity.
