We’re looking for someone who can help us find brilliant people to be chief executives, trustees, principals, directors and senior leaders for organisations that are helping to change the world for good.

  • Location: King's Cross St Pancras, London
  • Salary: £20k - £25k

About the role

We’re an executive search firm which means that we work with charities, universities, colleges, students’ unions and other institutions to recruit their leaders. This could be a CEO role or a Trustee. It could also be a Director of Fundraising or a College Principal.

In this role, you’ll research people who might be a good fit for our clients. This means you’ll need to be really organised, have great attention to detail and be passionate about delivering high quality work.

We have a pretty flexible culture, but realistically we’ll need you to be available during key business hours for at least the first six months.

As a person, you’ll be values driven. We’re all quite different at Peridot but what binds us together is the way that we work and the accountability we have for each other and our commitment to doing a good job – for our clients and our candidates.

You’ll probably be very curious, which means you’ll bring different ways of thinking about research and how you can find those exceptional leaders.

A typical day might look like researching potential candidates for a CEO role at an LGBT charity in the morning, through to answering and registering candidates who have applied to be a Trustee at a mental health charity in the afternoon.

You’ll also support us to book in interviews, making sure that we’re communicating to clients and candidates in a transparent and timely way.

At every stage, you’ll use our database to make sure that we capture everything that we do, have a clear audit trail and are GDPR compliant. But, don’t worry, we will provide training on this.

So, you’ll be hot on admin, provide incredible customer service and help us find the best people to drive social change in the UK.
