FireQual is an industry led awarding organisation currently in an exciting start up phase and are looking for a Qualifications Manager to grow and develop an innovative portfolio of qualifications as well as grow in their own career and team.

  • Location: Homebased with occasional office meetings
  • Salary: £40,000- £45,000

FireQual is the specialist Awarding Body for the fire protection industry working for the betterment of knowledge and skills.

They were established in 2020 and took on their first registered candidates in July 2021, now to support their high pace of growth and development they are recruiting for a new role, a Qualifications Manager.

As the Qualifications Manager, you will work with the industry and other stakeholders to build a qualifications system that is fit for purpose and fit for the future to support important changes in how people think and work within the fire industry.

This will also mean reviewing qualifications that are currently available and looking at how we expect those undertaking them to prove their knowledge and competencies in the future.

As this is currently a stand-alone role you will have full control of the whole portfolio, looking at key growth areas and managing the full lifecycle from development, release, and review.

As their qualifications are delivered by Approved Training Centres (ATC), who are responsible for the development and delivery of educational materials and preparation of candidates so they are ready to undertake their assessments, you will also work with the Director of Qualifications to develop processes to manage this growing network to ensure regulatory compliance, and quality and industry standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a background in quality assuring fire-related training or assessment to be trained in qualification development in order to grow a portfolio and division.
