AAT, the world’s leading qualification and professional membership body for vocational accountants, are seeking an enthusiastic Product Manager to manage the lifecycle and performance of their qualifications.

  • Location: Hybrid working with 1-2 days a week in the Canary Wharf office
  • Salary: £50,919

The Product Manager is a new role at AAT who will be a key link between the Business Development and Education and Development teams to contribute to the achievement of AAT’s business plan objectives and the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.

As the Product Manager, you will be managing the complete life cycle of AAT qualifications to ensure they remain relevant, produce product strategies and product changes for existing Awarding Body products based on qualification performance. You will collaborate with colleagues to develop initial scoping and subsequent business cases for new qualifications, while leading on funding approval and any changes in requirements related to funding for all AAT qualifications.

You will have a high level of current knowledge of the funding landscape for VTQs, Apprenticeships, and the wider educational sector as you will also be providing guidance and advice to colleagues relating to funding and its impact on qualifications and the wider marketing place.

As the Product Manager, you will be someone who has previous experience of qualification development, who is comfortable building and maintaining relationships, has the ability to manage and coordinate numerous qualifications and products effectively.

You will create and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to include business development, communications and marketing, and customer service. You will also be the key contact for customer-facing teams in relation to qualifications and products, ensuring Business Development and customer-facing teams are regularly briefed and kept updated on AAT’s Awarding Organisation offer and seek feedback.
