Oakhaven Care Ltd offers a personalised service to adults aged 18 and over who require everyday care in their home across the New Forest. Established for just over two years we are a local social enterprise company with all profits going to support Oakhaven Hospice Trust. We employ 40 staff and have already built a strong reputation within our community, doubling the amount of people we support and starting to generate a profit to enable funds to contribute to the hospice.
We are ambitious to do more and have huge potential to grow and extend the reach and scope of our services. To enable us to do this we are looking for our first Managing Director who will lead and deliver a strategy to deliver this growth. This is a new role and you will work alongside a dedicated board and draw. on support, investment and impetus from the Oakhaven Hospice Trust. You will be driving forward from a strong base and have the opportunity to bring your own ideas and initiatives to support this growth and position us as the leading care provider in our area.

Oakhaven Care has been operating for just over six years and the last couple of months have been among the most exciting.
The excellent work of our carers in the community has generated a really good reputation for the agency, attracting both new clients and carers. With an increased number of staff our reach in the community has been greater, enabling us to support more people to live independent lives in their own homes.
We have established ourselves as a provider that is reliable and delivers a very high standard of care and we are working hard to continue to grow and help as many people we can.
Our goal is to become the leading home care provider in the local area, as well as the leading employer for carers. To do this, recruitment will be an ongoing priority. Equally, a lot of time is being invested to ensure our carers receive a high level of training – enabling them to continue to deliver quality care.
The agency and the hospice have started to work together to maximise the use of training resources and over the next 12 months we will hopefully see the two working even more closely together.
