About University of East London Students’ Union

The University of East London Students’ Union is a member-led organisation that strives to reflect what our students at The University of East London feel about their education, experience and equality of opportunity.

All University of East London students automatically become a member of the students’ union and we exist to represent all of them.

We’re run for students, by students.

We have Full-Time Students’ Union Officers and a host of other current students who are annually elected by the student body to direct the Union and represent its students.

The Students’ Union offers the opportunity for students to get involved and make their issues heard and seeks to excel in innovating the most responsive and efficient means to gain student opinion.

These views are then translated into action – be it lobbying the University, local borough or Government, a mobilised campaign, or simply convincing someone of the relevance of the student view, we seek to change the world for the good of our members.
