We provide a range of comprehensive commercial and charitable services to help our students reach their potential and make the most of their time at King’s so that they leave ready and able to shape the future.
This is an exciting time to join one of the largest Students’ Unions in the UK as a Director of Services within the Senior Leadership Team at KCLSU. The successful applicant will be working closely with the Chief Executive, Trustees and other members of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure effective performance and strategic development of the Students’ Union.
We have recently combined our student community engagement and commercial services directorates to create more engagement with students and provide a more consistent and inclusive range of services.
One-year Fixed Term Appointment
We would also like you to lead a complete review of the functions, and processes, identifying synergies within the teams, addressing any gaps or conflicting demands, to build a more collaborative working relationship that will deepen connections with our members.
It’s likely that you are (or have been) a senior leader leading a significant commercial portfolio in the not for profit sector. To be successful in this role, you will need to enjoy leading teams and able to bring people together to work more collaboratively. We would be interested to hear about your experience of improving staff engagement and embedding new values and behaviours, building consensus and creating shared ownership of change.
