A leading national charity is looking for a senior operational leader with a proven track record in leading major transformational change, preferably including adaptation of services to digital delivery and on a significant scale. It is likely you will have a background in an organisation supporting children, young people and families, and understand the importance of safe, high quality services and safeguarding.

  • Salary: £75,000 + benefits (Fixed Term – 12 months)

Our client is a leading national charity providing support information and advice for children, young people and families. Working across the UK, it is gearing up to drive forward on a programme of significant change which will see it delivering more of its services online, increasing its reach, and ability to better respond to the changing needs of its beneficiaries.

To enable them to achieve this transformational change, they seek an Interim Executive Director of Services and Innovation who will lead and implement this programme over the next 12 months, helping them become increasingly digital, driving efficiencies, and enhance reach and impact.

Our client is looking for a senior operational leader who has a proven track record in leading major transformational change, preferably including adaptation of services to digital delivery and on a significant scale. You must be a resilient, bold and tenacious leader, someone who can translate strategy to implementation, drive continuous improvement, and work effectively with other directorates such as policy and campaigns and fundraising to contribute to campaigning activity and income generation. Leading and restructuring a geographically dispersed team, you are likely to have led teams across different locations and able to galvanise people behind a new direction of travel.

You will likely have a background in working at a senior level in an organisation supporting children, young people and families, and understand the importance of safe, high quality services and safeguarding.

This is a role that will enable the charity to be ‘fit for the future’ and increase its ability to significantly improve outcomes for children, young people and families.
