Are you an enthusiastic fundraiser who can help lead the charge in Demelza’s Lottery Strategy to grow income, spark community excitement and ensure outstanding stewardship for members?

  • Location: Kent, ME9 8DZ
  • Salary: £45,000 - £48,000

Who we are

At Demelza, we believe that every child and young person who has serious or life-limiting conditions should receive the care and attention they need to live the most fulfilling life they can. We deliver extraordinary care to extraordinary children, providing support for all the family, from the first diagnosis and for as long as we’re needed. When they need us most, we’ll be there, with care that doesn’t back down.

We have been providing this care since 1998 and, through the generosity of others, we can continue to be there for families for years to come. We offer support for every child, parent, carer, sibling and grandparent, with our services including end-of-life care, therapies and short breaks amongst others.

We have 3 main sites, the first of which was created in Sittingbourne Kent. In 2004 we merged with James House, a charity established in East Sussex, and then in 2009, we were able to build and open a hospice in Eltham to serve the boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark.
