The Chartered Institute of Building, the world’s largest and most influential professional body for construction management and leadership, are currently recruiting for a new and exciting role – Head of Client Development.
As someone who has a proven track record working for, or engaging with, clients in the built environment, you will work on a global scale with colleagues, stakeholders and strategic partners to develop an offering that will transform CIOB to become the professional body of choice for clients in the built environment.
Reporting to the CEO with an organisational wide remit as part of the SMT, you will be highly visible internally and externally advising and working closely with all levels of the organisation as well as Trustees, Members, affinity networks, relevant sector bodies and partners, and other key stakeholders.
The Head of Client Development role will require you to have excellent project management skills to work independently to design, plan and manage complex programmes to agreed timescales whilst also identifying and mitigating risks.
You will be key in discovering what products and services clients in the built environment may want and need through engaging with them, and manage the development of these including digital initiatives.
You will have credibility within the sector in order to influence and network to really understand the bigger picture and put this into practice.
