Head of Assessment Delivery | NCUK

NCUK are recruiting for a Head of Assessment Delivery to form part of a newly formed SLT and lead on key projects relating to assessment development, delivery and quality assurance on an international scale.

  • Location: Homebased with regular travel to the office
  • Salary: £50,000- £52,000

They are currently recruiting for a Head of Assessment Delivery to lead a small yet pivotal team during a period of exciting and ambitious growth and change. As someone who has a sound understanding of assessment delivery and theory including designing different methods of assessment, you will manage the full operational lifecycle including setting, logistics, marking, moderation, and results processing.

You will also be someone who enjoys the challenge of leading on strategic projects and has experience in undertaking product reviews, devising new assessment strategies, and implementing and embedding a digital assessment approach to support NCUK’s aim to double their student numbers over the next 3 years on an international scale.

NCUK is currently seeking Ofqual recognition, and the Head of Assessment Delivery will be part of this key project team bringing their experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements in regard to qualification and assessment frameworks.

As Head of Assessment, you will initially lead a team of 5 direct reports, including supporting and mentoring an apprentice and look to grow and develop the team to meet the growth ambitions and targets.

You will also be able to build strong internal relationships, with NCUK having an organisational headcount of 50 you will need to have strong negotiating and influencing skills to collaborate internally on a number of cross-organisational projects whilst also being willing to roll your sleeves up and be hands-on in the direct operational aspects of assessment delivery.
