Experienced in working in the field of grants fundraising, including proven experience in developing, delivering and monitoring a grants programme? Join Providence Row as their Grants Fundraising Manager and proactively manage and grow this key area of their income generation.

We are currently partnering with Providence Row in their search for a Grants Fundraising Manager.

Providence Row is a grassroots homelessness charity working with more than 1,600 people experiencing homelessness a year in London, offering an integrated service of crisis support, advice, recovery and learning and training programmes.

Grants fundraising covering Statutory (incl. Local Authority tenders), Lottery, Trusts and Foundations has been identified as one of the key areas for growth as they are fortunate to have a range of services and projects that are very appealing to grant makers. There are a number of existing relationships with significant funders e.g. Comic Relief, National Lottery Community Fund, Oak Foundation and have a prospect pipeline of small Trusts and Foundations.

The Grants Manager will play a pivotal role in helping Providence Row achieve the goals of its new five-year organisational strategy (which we can share) by sustainably growing grants income. Their 2019/20 grants income target of just over £1m comprises £588k from renewing Local Authority contracts and £420k from other restricted and unrestricted grants (incl. £77k from new funders). The three-year plan is to grow grants income by 9% and 8% in the following two years.
