The Board of Richmond upon Thames College help to make the key decisions which impact on the direction of the College. They oversee the College’s strategic direction and mission, ensuring a high-quality teaching and learning experience for all learners and stakeholders.
In addition, they are responsible in ensuring the safeguarding of public funds and asset by approving and monitoring the annual budget.

Following a review of the skills needed to take the College forward in delivering our ambitions, we are now seeking new Governors to strengthen and enhance the Board. You will work with the other Board Members and the executive management team to deliver excellence and innovation for learners, employers and communities.
The College is currently facing a number of challenges and the Board and executive management are working hard together to address these. Working with the local community and businesses we are ensuring that the College is in a strong position to deliver a progressive curriculum for the 21st Century that will benefit and enhance the lives of our students and make a positive contribution to our community.

Richmond upon Thames College offers a broad curriculum for post 16-year-olds. This includes A Levels and an extensive range of technical qualifications from entry level through to level 5.
They offer a vast array of training options including apprenticeships, community provision, business training, work-based training and commercial activities.
The College will be the home to a major £80m flagship rebuild programme the first phase of which is due to complete in Spring 2020. They will have industry-standard facilities and resources. With their links to top universities and employers, they will ensure that learners are equipped with skills, knowledge and behaviours and are prepared for their future employment.
The new campus is situated close to the A316 opposite Twickenham stadium.
The redevelopment is a partnership between Richmond upon Thames College, Haymarket Media Group, Harlequins, Clarendon School, Richmond Council and Achieving for Children. All organisations are working together to create an Education and Enterprise Campus on the college site of Egerton Road in Twickenham. The site will include Richmond upon Thames College, a new secondary school for 11-16 year olds, purpose built accommodation for Clarendon School and Haymarket’s new ‘tech hub’ and digital media incubator.
The aim of the campus is to bring together further education, enterprise and the local community to deliver an innovative curriculum which supports learners in meeting the needs of employers.
