Gem-A is in an exciting post-Covid growth period and is recruiting for an Events Manager to restart and revamp their international events portfolio for stakeholders as well as internal staff socials.
Gem-A, the longest established provider of gem and jewellery education in the world, are looking to grow their marketing team as part of their Covid recovery growth plans, to attract more students and build advocacy amongst graduates, members and trade partners worldwide.
The Events Manager is an exciting role in which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders to drive acquisition, engagement and retention through organising Gem-A events and supporting marketing initiatives on a global scale.
As someone who has had previous experience in organising events, such as conferences and graduations on behalf of education institutes or for membership bodies or higher education establishments, the Events Manager will be the event lead for all internal and external events, project managing them from brief to review.
This is an exciting role, where you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in events management and take full ownership of worldwide events including logistics, marketing and reports on events activity.
You will build out and execute the Tradeshow calendar, lead on membership gatherings, develop webinars and manage the annual Conference and Graduation Ceremony.
Furthermore, you will work closely with colleagues internally to create and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns, as well as with external creative teams to design adverts and event material.
