Who we are

At Innovate Awarding, we strive to provide end-point assessments that are respected and delivered simply with no surprises along the way.

Our reputation speaks for itself – we’re Multi Standards EPAO of the Year (SME) and were one of the first to be registered with the Education and Skills Funding Agency. We’re trusted by employers and their training organisations across the country to evaluate apprentice competence.

Our mission is to ensure individuals and employers are provided with qualifications and end-point assessments that equip them with the right skills to ensure a high quality and productive workforce in the UK.

About the role

We are looking for innovative, approachable individuals to join our supportive development team, to be responsible for managing new developments and the product lifecycle for qualifications and assessments in a defined portfolio.

As the Development Manager, you will manage the development pipeline, ensuring there are clear timelines, milestones and accountability for those in your portfolio.

All products in your portfolio must have a comprehensive set of assessment and support resources for qualifications and end-point assessments that meet the needs of all stakeholders, complying with internal brand standards and following the development processes.

You will work closely with those involved in the development process, ensuring their products are delivered on time and in line with published timescales, with appropriate assessment and support resources that are commercially-viable and clearly reflect the regulatory and stakeholder requirements.

As one of our innovators of the future, you can enjoy a supportive culture with a real emphasis on personal and professional development.

We support our people with comprehensive professional development through training and workplace experience.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing qualifications and assessment products, with a strong understanding of end-point assessment for apprenticeship standards and qualifications.

You must also be resourceful, self-motivated and approachable. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is comfortable meeting deadlines, commercial objectives and stakeholder expectations within a high-demand environment.

If you are looking for a rewarding role in an organisation with a long-established reputation and are passionate about contributing to its ongoing success and continuous improvement, then please get in touch today.

In return for applying your skills and experience, you will enjoy a package of benefits designed to reward your hard work and realise your professional potential:

  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (total 33 days per annum)
  • Contributory pension (company matched)
  • Life insurance
  • Great benefits, reward and recognition and well-being package
