  • Location: Homebased with time spent in the field
  • Salary: circa £125,000 plus generous benefits package

We are currently recruiting for a Chief Learning Officer, a brand new role, to provide strategic leadership and innovation to support the delivery of our mission.

As the Chief Learning Officer, you will provide Board level expertise within Quality, Compliance and Curriculum, focusing on improving both learner outcomes and the development of learners’ knowledge, skills, and behaviours through innovative, best in class learning resources and outstanding teaching practices.

You will be a thought leader and innovator in delivering high-quality learning and training, developing dynamic partnerships, and working alongside employers to add value by providing a higher level of service delivery above the usual standards.

As the Chief Learning Officer, you will be passionate about staying ahead of global delivery trends and look to make Lifetime a beacon of best practice, working cross-organisationally to make changes and implement new ways of working and delivering that will benefit both learners and employers.

You may not be an expert in Ofsted or EFSA, but you will understand how to be compliant with regulatory requirements, and as Chief Learning Officer, you will know that quality and compliance are the key ingredients to becoming a great organisation.

This is a key role in Lifetime’s leadership, providing strategic support and direction, sitting on the Board, and working directly with our new CEO to build and model a positive collaborative culture and drive strategic development.

The Role
We are looking for a leader who will provide strategic leadership and innovation to support in the delivery of our mission; We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to learn the skills they need to unlock and fulfil their potential.

Lifetime faces rigorous regulatory obligations from the ESFA and Ofsted, as well as from our learners and employer partners. To ensure that the overarching learning experience is outstanding, we are looking to enhance this area of our provision and provide Board level expertise within Quality, Compliance and Curriculum through the creation of this role.

This role will be focused on providing strategic leadership to improve both learner outcomes and the development of learners knowledge, skills and behaviours through innovative, best in class learning resources and outstanding teaching practices.

This is a new role to the business, and it will also play an important role in providing inspiring leadership and strategic support across Lifetime, sitting on Lifetime’s Board.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lifetime.  You will be someone who can embrace our values, build and model a positive collaborative culture and have the ability to drive strategic development.
