You will provide financial oversight, participating in decisions regarding investments and resource allocation to maintain the organisation’s financial stability, uphold its values and drive its mission forward.

Trustees must be committed to the NEBDN’s vision and values, bring strategic thinking and collaborative skills, and support the continuous improvement of dental nurse education. In this role, you will significantly impact the future of dental nursing by influencing policies, ensuring high standards in education and assessments, and supporting the professional development of dental nurses across the UK.

You will be expected to attend approximately 4 meetings of the Board each year, participate in subcommittees, and contribute to strategic planning and governance activities.

The candidate should also be innovative, forward-thinking, and capable of taking a balanced approach to decision-making, with the ability to actively listen and involve others in the process. A positive and engaging demeanour that fits well with a friendly and principled board culture is essential.
