Open College Network West Midlands is a national and international Awarding Organisation licensed by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and QAA to develop and award regulated qualifications across industry sectors.
The post is a full-time office-based role, but there are opportunities for home working, and you may be required to travel across the Open College Network West Midlands area locally and nationally.
Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development you will play a leading role in the future growth of the organisation. You will be an effective networker with substantial experience of selling and marketing products and services, together with the confidence to conduct sales / product offer presentations to customers.
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Business Development Manager (Sales) with high initiative and drive to generate new business income from the sale of qualifications and other accredited provision to agreed targets. The post holder will have led responsibility for generating new business enquiries and securing new customer acquisitions for the organisation.

Ideally you will come from a background in awarding organisations, the education sector or an independent training provider and hold a proven track record of employer engagement, account management and relationship building with external stakeholders.
