AAT is one of the UK’s leading qualification and professional membership body for vocational accountants. They are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and process driven Assessment Coordinator to join a busy Education and Development division to help with the development of qualifications and assessments in line with AAT’s regulatory requirements.

  • Location: Hybrid – 1-2 days a week in the office (Canary Wharf)
  • Salary: £33,965 - £35,000

About the role

As the Assessment Coordinator, you will possess a strong knowledge of producing high-quality assessments with impeccable attention to detail. Additionally, you would possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Excel and PowerPoint with prior experience of working with internal and external stakeholders in relation to quality content and assessment design; ensuring all examination material are fit for purpose.

Your key tasks would include carrying out assurance checks on the content produced and ensuring that the assessment platform functionality work efficiently, reviewing assessment performance confirming validity and reliability during the lifecycle and providing support to potential queries from both internal and external stakeholders.

As the Assessment Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of Education and Development division looking closely at assessment quality and assessment design. You will be working alongside a busy team with multiple workstreams that all contribute to the company-wide projects alongside regular assessments which include the launch of new qualifications launching on a new assessment platform.

This is a spectacular chance for someone with prior experience in editing and proofreading, qualification and assessment development with some familiarity within the awarding sector.

This diverse and fulfilling position calls for someone to help teach SMEs on using assessment software, support the assessment writing teams in creating assessment materials, and monitor and evaluate the SMEs’ performance in accordance with AAT’s procedures
