Ascentis, is an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation plus the largest Access Validating Agency, with a “Low Risk” rating from QAA, working with centres nationwide to deliver high-quality Access to HE Diplomas.
As Quality Assurance Manager, you will work to ensure the integrity and academic standards of the Access to HE Diploma provision and be responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of quality assurance activities.
You will manage Subject Moderators and External Quality Assurers to ensure they are providing an excellent service to customers, while also ensuring that Ascentis meets the standards required by senior management and by the regulatory authorities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has been involved in Access to HE quality assurance processes previously such as a teacher, assessor, verifier etc and is looking to progress in their career to work directly for an awarding body.
You will have excellent customer service techniques to advise centres and EQAs and be able to prioritise and organise conflicting projects and deadlines.
