Supporting career development with free online workshops

During these very uncertain times, our team are offering free online workshops to support career development, up skill, meet like minded peers and share our expertise.

We know it’s incredibly tough at the moment, so if we can support you to access more skills, support and advice then we’ll do what we can.

We’re aiming to do one a week but if there is a theme or a topic you would like to discuss, please let our marketing team know on marketing@peridotpartners.co.uk.

Some of the workshops will be capped for the first 20 people who join but we’ll happily run the same workshop again if we are oversubscribed.

You can pre-register for each workshop at the Zoom links below – this won’t guarantee a place but will add a reminder into your calendar.

Please note, the workshops will be recorded, please do let the host know if you don’t want it shared publicly and we’ll set up a private link for participants.

The current agenda line up is confirmed below and we’ll add more as and when we develop them (in order of newest to oldest):

Governance v2.1: the evolution of board environments

Date: Wednesday 27th May 2020, 10am – 11am
Hosted by: Grant Taylor (Managing Director) & Bill Yuksel (Business Manager)

Password: governance

The 21st century has seen unparalleled levels of global instability with political uncertainty, a growing divide in wealth and poverty, climate change and now a global pandemic.

There is much talk currently about leaving behind the society that we left pre-lockdown and creating a “new normal” for society. As we a start to see a new version of society unfold that we hope will be more inclusive and better able to operate in uncertain times, our governance and board environments will need to evolve too. Boards will need to be more able to work with uncertainty, be more open to risk and not be afraid to do things in new and more agile ways.

This is a discussion forum to explore:

  • What should governance look and feel like going forward?
  • What should we keep, what should go?
  • What characteristics and behaviours do we need from board members to best deliver for the governance v2.1?
