The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is six months into its ambitious three-year strategy that aims to significantly grow our income. Along with funding an existing world-class programme of research, treatment and care, we have also launched a £70 million capital appeal to build the Oak Cancer Centre that will provide radical new solutions for the research and treatment of cancer.

Corporate fundraising is a growing entity within the Charity; we have secured major five, six and seven figure partnerships through existing Royal Marsden relationships.

Corporate fundraising is a growing entity within the Charity; we have grown and secured major five, six and seven figure partnerships, including a long term relationship with Ralph Lauren, becoming Google UK’s first ever Charity of the Year and being voted Macfarlanes Charity of the Year.
We have a diverse offering for corporates that has been positively received at numerous staff votes. We are now looking to build upon this and grow our corporate income by focusing on proactive new business. As Senior New Business Manager you will lead on the new business / acquisition strategy within the Corporate Partnerships team. This will include building upon existing new business plans and relationships. Utilising excellent existing Senior Volunteer and Ambassador links you will work towards the formation of advisory group networks that will identify and initiate relationships with prospective corporate donors to secure six and seven figure partnerships.
Coming from a background in corporate partnerships within the charity sector, you will have a proven ability and passion for donor acquisition, driving the delivery of a donor centric strategy for corporate fundraising. Attuned to the sensitives of senior relationships, you will be a skilled relationship builder, able to utilise the significant support that we have from senior volunteers in order to unlock new partnerships.
