Our main programme is the Pathways to Future Leadership Programme, a unique one year development opportunity for Heads of Service and Assistant Directors in Adult Social Care. We also have a leadership development programme for charities and social enterprise organisations developing commercial, entrepreneurial and business skills of civil society leadership.
Features of the Pathways to Future Leadership Programme
- Use of a diagnostic process, including psychometric and a 360 assessment to create individual development plans
- Personal coaching by high profile sector leaders
- Practical experience aimed at improving participant performance on the ground rather than theoretical and classroom-based training
- Shadow placements in related sectors and network development
- Final feedback session with participant and their line manager (together) to discuss objectives and outcomes reached
- Real clarity on the objectives from the diagnostic process, which will be tied to the performance indicators for participants and will provide tangible measures of success
There is also a real networking opportunity for Assistant Directors who will come together at the start, middle and end of the programme and be invited to join round-table discussion on current affairs with high profile leaders in social care.
