The Foyer Federation Location: Farringdon, London Starting Salary: £25-£30k + Benefits There are 14 million 14-30 year olds living in the UK today. As many as 1 in 5 will experience disadvantage because they lack the skills, resources and opportunities to take control of their lives and realise their potential as active and engaged young citizens. For over a decade, the Foyer Federation has helped disadvantaged young people make the transition into adult independence through transformational programmes and campaigns that range from supported housing, training and employment projects, to homeless prevention initiatives, transitional learning and health programmes, to campaigns for welfare reform. Our work has largely been channelled through integrated learning and accommodation centres, often known as Foyers, which operate in over 130 communities across the UK, providing safe, quality assured environments, where experts reconnect up to 10,000 vulnerable young people each year with personal development opportunities. Group Finance Director Location:   London & Macclesfield Salary: Up to £70k pa NUS is the foremost student organisation in Europe, a confederation of 600 students’ unions, representing the interests of 7m learners. NUS Services Ltd provides commercial support to students unions, and infrastructure services to NUS. This role leads on the strategy of the Finance department ensuring alignment with the business objectives of NUS and NUS Services Ltd, while working closely with other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support strategic financial solutions for all aspects of the organisations. Location:  Macclesfield & London Salary: Up to £60k pa NUS is the foremost student organisation in Europe, a confederation of 600 students’ unions, representing the interests of 7m learners. NUS Services Ltd provides commercial support to students unions, and infrastructure services to NUS. Recruiting a Chair for Evelina Children’s Heart Organisation (ECHO)

London and South East ECHO provides vital support to children with heart conditions who receive treatment at the Evelina Children’s Hospital, as well as extending a lifeline to their family and carers. We are there to provide information, friendship and moral support from infancy to adulthood, especially at times of high anxiety for the patient and/or his or her family/carers. Our advocacy provides vital patient voice to help Guy’s & St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust shape its services for Congenital Heart Disease. As a small, but growing charity, we have just had an excellent year for income generation. We have healthy reserves, a dynamic and highly motivated Chief Executive, Trustee Board and Non-Executive Committee. We are punching above our weight with the services we provide, in our influence within the Children’s Heart Federation and in our collaboration with Guy’s & St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and the Department of Health National Specialised Commissioning Group to shape patient services across London and the South-East. Uveitis Information Group are a patient led charity, set up in April 1998. Backed by Uveitis specialists worldwide they have led the way in developing patient information and providing knowledge on Uveitis to interested parties. Additionally, the UIG: •responds to individual queries from patients •seeks to raise the profile of Uveitis nationally •links with international Uveitis groups •remains in close contacts with Uveitis specialists •seeks to improve the services available to people with Uveitis The Uveitis Information Group has a management team, trustees and a team of professional experts in eye medicine and vision impairment. This role is responsible for the financial affairs of the charity. It is also a developmental role as they we go through the process of registration in England (current registration is in Scotland). We need somebody who can lead the development of the internal processes and help to develop robust financial management systems.
