Chief Executive – Surrey Community Action (Guildford)

Salary up to £60,000 per annum for an exceptional candidate Surrey Community Action (Surrey CA) is a countywide charity offering advice, support and information to both voluntary and community groups. We enable sector development and provide relevant support services to local charities and voluntary groups in both urban and rural communities. We also run specific projects, often in partnership with others, as well as pilot and test new initiatives. We have 35 staff and circa £2.4 million turnover, comprising core activities and the management of grant funded projects.  Highly regarded by partners, funders and many of our members we have a clear vision to become a strategic leader in the County and therefore be experts on all aspects of the Voluntary, Community and Faith sector (VCFS) in Surrey. Interim Service Director – National Charity

We are looking for an Interim Service Director for a national charity, to start this month. This is a full time (5 days a week) position for an initial period of 3-6 months, but could well be extended. The charity provides support to disadvantaged families and in particular, children, and their HQ is based in London. Interim Centre and Community Development Director – 3-6 Months

  Based in London E1   Salary c.£50k pro rata (on an employment contract) or £300 per day (ltd company consultancy contract)   We are seeking somebody with experience leading a community venue and building links with community groups.  This centre is part of a prestigious charity that is seeking to develop the local community with a particular focus on children, young people and disadvantaged families. This role includes staff management and is delivering services within an equal opportunities multicultural environment. Budgetary control of centre activities and of individual projects as well as developing income from a range of sources, particularly local government, are important elements of the role.
