Based in the new Department of External Relations, the ideal candidate will have substantial experience in fundraising from charitable trusts & foundations and company-giving programmes, well-developed interpersonal and diplomatic skills, excellent project management skills and a range of other relevant attributes to ensure development activities support the School’s mission. Project Manager – Supporting Offenders to break the cycle of offending, homelessness and poverty.

Based London Salary £34-£38k Permanent Contract   Our client provides accommodation, care and support services to over a thousand people across London. This project, supporting ex-offenders in making the psychological shift needed to adapt to life successfully back in the community, is one of the most exciting projects of its kind in the sector.  In addition to a training programme, which has been successfully piloted, there will be a peer mentoring programme. With ambitious targets and a focus on outcomes that will support offenders to move out of the cycle of offending, homelessness and poverty, this project has a very high profile. Significant funding has been secured for four years on a sliding scale, and while additional fundraising is in process it is expected that the programme will be generating income in the second year and onwards.  Therefore, the external relationship building in promoting and achieving new partners including prisons, criminal justice providers and supported housing organisations will be critical to the ongoing success of the project.
