Our client is a London Borough looking to appoint an interim Head of Service to manage the Learning Disability service (adult social care). Executive Director – Classics for All

Location: Home-based Salary:  Competitive  Part-time, circa 21 hours per week Classics for All (CFA) was founded in 2010 to become the largest grant-giver devoted solely to making Classics available in state schools across the UK. We rely on the generosity of our growing community of donors, funders and sponsors to be able to grant funds to projects that establish the study of Classics across the state education system where it is not currently available. We are a group of individuals united by a passion for Classics. Our supporters include academics, scholars and teachers, business people, politicians and broadcasters. Classics – the study of Latin, Greek, Ancient History and Classical Civilisation – is in growing demand in state schools but it has to compete for funding with other essential subjects in increasingly tight school budgets. CfA has ambitious targets including a long-term goal of getting Classics programmes into 1,000 schools by 2020.   Since its inception, CfA has been run by a group of enthusiastic and passionate volunteers.
