Adult Social Care Consultancy Project – Two days per week until March

Our client is a prominent City Council in the South of England looking to for a Project Manager to implement changes to the non residential care charging policy. Implementation will begin at the end of January, yet we need a project manager to start as soon as possible as changes will need to be made to systems prior to implementation being completed in April 2013. We are looking for someone at Service Manager level who has a good understanding of social care charging, and who is prepared to be hands on as well as capable of managing the project at a higher level.  The work will involve making  changes to the council’s care recording system, sending out letters to all customers with their new charges, setting up a helpline and revising the policy documents. We therefore, require someone who has the tenacity to drive through this change in a setting where staff capacity is limited at present and where there are competing demands.
