Development Director – Christ Church Oxford

Competitive salary Permanent, Full-Time Christ Church seeks a Development Director to replace Marek Kwiatkowski, who is moving to a new appointment in spring 2014.  The appointee will take responsibility, under the Governing Body, for implementing Christ Church’s fund-raising strategy. The post involves both fund-raising from major-gift prospects at the highest level, and leadership of the Christ Church Development Office, including oversight of other aspects of the institution’s fund-raising programme, and of its alumni-relations activities. The individual must have the authority and personal qualities that will create successful relationships both with the academic community of Christ Church, and major donors. He or she must be energetic and determined, of high integrity, capable of leading a team, and in sympathy with the values of an Oxford college. Christ Church welcomes applications from those with a track-record of successful fund-raising in the charitable sector, but does not exclude the appointment of an individual who can show the requisite qualities through success in a relevant career field. The salary, inclusive of a housing allowance or access to a shared-equity house-purchase arrangement, will be in the region of £75,000 per annum.
