Salary – Unremunerated but reasonable expenses will be paid Location – London Action is a national charity with local reach, providing expert practical help and support to blind and partially sighted people of all ages. We work with some 30,000 visually impaired people every year in many aspects of their lives and help them to find the right opportunities they need to live independently. We offer a range of services focusing increasingly on being there with practical and emotional support for people as early as possible in their sight loss journey and at later points of crisis or transition when they most need us. We know we will achieve more by working in partnership with other agencies. We want many more volunteers adding value to our work. Christ Church Students’ Union (CCSU) is a registered charity, the representative body for students of Canterbury Christ Church University and provides wide-ranging services for its members across Kent.  CCSU is on an exciting journey, having recently moved into a new building, the St George’s Centre in Canterbury, and expanded its portfolio of activities considerably.  We currently run a wide range of services across all of the University’s campuses, including around 50 sports clubs and societies with over 2,000 members, an FM radio station and a student newspaper, welfare and advice services, an exciting entertainment programme culminating in our annual summer ball, and a bar and coffee shop.
