3x Trustees including Chair, Christ Church Students’ Union

Christ Church Students’ Union (CCSU) is a registered charity, the representative body for students of Canterbury Christ Church University and provides wide-ranging services for its members across Kent.  CCSU is on an exciting journey, having recently moved into a new building, the St George’s Centre in Canterbury, and expanded its portfolio of activities considerably.  We currently run a wide range of services across all of the University’s campuses, including around 50 sports clubs and societies with over 2,000 members, an FM radio station and a student newspaper, welfare and advice services, an exciting entertainment programme culminating in our annual summer ball, and a bar and coffee shop. We are also the independent representative body for our members, the 20,000 students of the University, providing a voice for students to the University and the local community. With a new Managing Director who started in May, we are now looking for three new trustees, including a Chair, to join our Board of Trustees and help strengthen our governance and ensure our sustainability. Deputy Director – Leadership Giving, Eton

Salary:  £42,000 to £47,000, depending upon skills and experience Location description: Eton, Windsor Over the last seven years Eton’s Development Office has raised over £50m in gifts and pledges to support scholarships and bursaries, and the renewal and conservation of its buildings and grounds. The Development Office was established in 2005 and has a very close and productive relationship with the Old Etonian Association (OEA). The OEA and Development share office accommodation in Radcliffe House, just off Eton High Street, close to the centre of the school. In addition to fundraising, the team supports an increasingly vibrant alumni and parent relations programme. Reporting to the Development Director, this key post will be responsible for evolving the annual giving program, identifying new mid to high level prospects arising and further developing and implementing a stewardship program for all donors.
