Events and Major Gifts Manager

Salary: £35k with Bonus potential Location: London, SE1 The Ireland Fund of Great Britain (IFGB) are seeking an energetic, innovative, commercial, relationship-driven, organised and charismatic individual to plan and orchestrate our annual calendar of Events and support wider Major Donor fundraising. Reporting to the Development Director, the Events and Major Gifts Manager will plan, orchestrate and manage all aspects of the regular special events calendar throughout the year. You will secure appropriate venues and prepare and manage budgets, whilst finding innovative ways to minimise costs and commercial means to maximise revenue. You will organise and lead a dedicated Committee for each Event, sell tables/tickets, secure sponsorship and oversee/coordinate all aspects to ensure successful execution. The Events and Major Gifts Manager shall have the support of two other staff members and an experienced Board member who leads on Events. One of the staff members is already experienced in delivery of the IFGBs past events and shall support fully on all aspects of financial management, administration and communication with donors.
