OXFAM, Account Manager – Major Gifts

We depend on high value fundraising to help fund our emergency, development and campaigning work and we need specific expertise in major donor fundraising to grow our income further over the coming years. Be challenged We develop and maintain outstanding relationships with our high net worth supporters and we are seeking a high caliber charity professional to manage a portfolio of donors. Reporting to and working closely with our Head of Major Gifts, you will use your relationship skills to identify, cultivate and secure gifts from major donors, whist at the same time focusing on expanding our portfolio with new donors. University of Cambridge, Senior Associate Director, Major Gifts – Biological Sciences

In 2005, to mark its 800th anniversary, University of Cambridge launched the public phase of Europe’s first £1 billion campaign.  It reached its target by 2010, two years ahead of schedule.  Building on this success, the University is planning for its next major institution-wide campaign.  Significant investment is being directed toward the expansion of the current alumni relations, communication and fundraising capability in the Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations Office. The Senior Associate Director, Major Gifts – Biological Sciences is a senior fundraiser within the Schools Based Fundraising team responsible for the design, support and delivery of the major gifts programme for the School of the Biological Sciences.  The School encompasses the Faculty Board of Biology and the Faculty Board of Veterinary Medicine and is represented on the Faculty Board of Clinical Medicine. It is a key player in the Cambridge Conservation Initiative as well as the majority of Cambridge Strategic Research Initiatives.
