Director of Fundraising, The Hospice of St Francis

Salary: £55k – £60k. Location: Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire The Hospice of St Francis is a highly regarded independent charity providing comprehensive end-of-life healthcare for the West Hertfordshire and South Buckinghamshire community. Building on the foundations of more than 30 years, we support and care for people with life-shortening illnesses and their families and carers. Our core services include a 14 bed in patient facility, and a wellbeing Spring Centre hub which provides a range of day services, therapies, support and information for patients and their families. The Hospice of St Francis is a registered charity receiving around 20% of its funding from the NHS. We rely on the generosity of our local community to fund the remaining 80% of our costs. This comes from many individuals, events, local businesses, trusts, schools, community groups, our shops, our lottery and Gifts in Wills. Last year our fundraising income, including legacies, was £3.6m. Director of Dissemination, Early Intervention Foundation

London £70-£80K The Early Intervention Foundation was established in 2013 to address the root causes of social problems for children and young people through intervening early. An independent charity, our vision is for every baby, child and young person to realise their potential and we have established ourselves as the ‘go-to’ organisation for evidence and advice on early intervention. We have made significant progress in ensuring that this evidence is made more accessible and that the case is made locally and nationally to shift spend towards earlier intervention to improve outcomes for children, young people and families. We are one of the Government’s ‘What Works Centres’ using evidence to make better decisions at national and local levels and we receive funding from five different government departments, as well as a range of donations from individuals, corporates and trusts and foundations.
