We have over 40 members of staff dedicated to this goal and support our work by delivering quality services to the 13,000+ students at Lancaster University. This includes managing the societies and sports clubs on campus, running large events such as the Graduation Ball attended by over 1,000 students per year, advice and support services and operating commercial services such as a student lettings agency and the Sugarhouse nightclub. Chief Executive Groundwork Greater Nottingham Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 Groundwork Greater Nottingham (GGN) is dedicated to improving the lives of people living across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Since 1990 we have been delivering projects to regenerate local communities and supporting the hardest to reach beneficiaries. Our projects include environmental projects and landscaping services, as well as youth work, training and employment support. We are highly regarded by partners and funders and widely recognised for the quality of our work in the region. Chair of Board and Two Trustees Young Gamblers Education Trust (YGAM) Meetings held in London with reasonable expenses reimbursed.  From the National Lottery and scratch cards which are available everywhere, to betting shops located on our high streets, to casinos which are open 24/7 in most cities, to 24/7 remote gambling (gambling via the internet), to skin betting, bongo bingo, and even the rise of unregulated social gaming (via free to download apps on your mobile) gambling and social gaming is all around us.  Whilst many people enjoy gambling and social gaming safely, for others it can become a terrible addiction. This is why YGAM, an independent charity, has been set up with a social purpose to inform, educate and safeguard young people against problematic gambling & social gaming. From an idea on a sheet of paper in 2015, to achieving over £500,000 in funding with eight employees, our growth to date has been impressive. This has proven that there is a real need for what we are doing.  We have developed the UK’s first fully externally accredited and quality-assured education programme, and will soon pilot a new externally accredited qualification for people working in the gambling industry.
