Chair of the Corporation Board (Designate) Hopwood Hall College Remuneration: Unpaid, voluntary role with reasonable expenses Time commitment: The equivalent of between 2-4 days per month Term of office: A four year period, set by the Corporation Board Having supported dramatic improvements in the quality of teaching, learning and outcomes for students, alongside significant capital estate programmes at Hopwood Hall College, we now require a successor to our outgoing Chair, Robert Clegg OBE, once he steps down at the end of this academic year.  Whilst the College is ‘good’ and the finances ‘outstanding’, now is not a time for our next Chair to accept the status quo as the FE sector is seeing constant and dramatic change and challenge, through increased competition and no increase in funding.  Now is the time to support our experienced and trusted Executive Team to continue to think creatively and commercially, to take appropriate risks and develop and sustain improved relationships with employers, community leaders and businesses locally and regionally, to maximise income and opportunities for our students. Director of Income & Communications, Lewis-Manning Hospice Competitive Salary Location: Poole, Dorset Lewis Manning Hospice is a highly regarded independent charity providing comprehensive end-of-life healthcare for the Poole and Bournemouth community. Building on the foundations of more than 25 years, we support and care for people with life-shortening illnesses, their families and carers. We provide services to asylum seekers, victims of human trafficking and other migrants. We were founded in 1963 to give support to migrants arriving through the ports of Kent, and since then have expanded across the UK.
