Salary: c£75k, depending on experience, plus benefits

We are the Association for Project Management (APM), the chartered body for the project management profession and we are committed to developing and promoting project and programme management to every community and generation. We do this through a diverse offering of professional membership, qualifications, publications, resources, research and events.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Technology will ensure that APM operates in line with its strategic objectives of being a 21st century professional body embracing the power of technology in all that it does to maximise effectiveness and build customer brand loyalty. You will devise and gain buy-in to develop and implement a fully integrated technology strategy and roadmap.

You will offer a full range of technology solutions needed to effectively deliver the vision and resulting business plans aligned considering the latest technologies that are relevant to APM and its aims.

You will be a Chartered Member of BCS and have experience of devising and implementing a technology strategy in similar size and type of organisation. Previous experience of leading an effective team of technical staff across a range of technologies, with clear examples of introducing new technologies to an existing environment will be key. Your leadership skills will be just as important as your technology ones as you inspire colleagues, members and partners to adopt new ways of working.

In-depth experience of working with third-party suppliers to deliver an effective solution and experience and working with user experience teams to develop user centred design solutions is critical. You will have significant experience in CRM, web and API linking technologies, with a proven track record in working with cloud-based solutions and hosting partners. We’re looking for someone who has demonstrated expertise of integrating emerging technologies with existing internal systems.
